Surrealistic

SURREALISTIC is the solo work of multi instrumentalist and Mellotron enthusiast BEN FURNISS from Grey Lynn, Auckland City.

After several years of playing in bands such as THE BROKEN HEARTBREAKERS, WHITE SWAN BLACK SWAN & SUPERTURTLE, he finally got around to finishing his second album; Thoughtghost.

This release is not what you might necessarily expect from being involved in such bands, citing varied influences such as Sparklehorse, Doves, Nick Drake & Air. This is the second undertaking since the critically aclaimed debut self titled album in 2005.

The first single UNTIL OUR GHOST HAS GONE was released 6 weeks ago to much interest & playlisting, to be followed by TELL ME WHEN IT'S OVER at the time of the album release.
